Moses: The Enemy Of The State!

Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels bear witness in the Communist Manifesto that “the history of hitherto all existing societies is the history of class struggles.” The bible tells us the same thing, before and after the flood. Of freeman and slave. Partisan and plebeian. Of lord and surf. Guild master and journeyman. In short, oppressor vs. oppressed standing in constant opposition to one another. This is what the bible conveys, a constant struggle to be relieved of oppression, and when you fight to be relieved of oppression what happens is you become an enemy of the powers.

This is why the Christ was put to death.

The prophetic language in Deuteronomy chapter 18 teaches us that the Creator had just delivered the people out of Egyptian bondage, and informs us in verse 15 that he will raise up a prophet from the midst of the children of Israel like Moses. “Unto him ye shall hearken and [I] will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”  If you believe this is talking about Jesus Christ how can you not understand he was a revolutionary and against the oppressive powers that be?

If he was like unto Moses he would be.

This is clearly seen in history. But the bourgeoisie pay theologians for us not to see these revolutionary truths in the bible, having them depoliticized. The revolutionaries like Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah, Amos, all away down to Jesus are turned into cute stories with no tangible use today. In reality the people of the day thought Jesus was one of the old prophets because he himself was a revolutionary, a wanted man; an outlaw.

Let’s investigate Moses.

What caused the creator to really raise up Moses to deliver the children of Israel? And what caused him to cripple the Egyptian state? Why and how did the Creator do this? To fully understand the answers to these questions we must keep in mind our current situation while we go back and revisit the circumstances found in the Egyptian empire of Moses’ day and in the end we should better know why that with each passing plague the workman, the oppressed, became more precious in the sight of Pharaoh.

After Joseph dies in Egypt a new ruler ship or plutocracy arose (Exodus ch. 1). The new power base found the Hebrews multiplying in exceedingly great numbers and this worried the new generation of elite. Why would this growing agricultural population in Goshen worry the new plutocracy? Know, that the poor, among other things, fought battles and their concern was that they would join other powers against their own in war. Pharaoh and the high elite did not go to war themselves; the poor did for them. It is the surf class that fight for the rich elite. The corrupt powers sat off to the sides while the poor were one the front lines; just like it is today (we have been trained to esteem them that fight for the oppressor as heroes).

What was Egyptian life like in the days of Moses? In Collins Atlas of the Bible, under Egyptian Administration we read,

The everyday life of the ordinary Egyptian was overseen by a hierarchy of officials. The army consisted of both conscripts [draftees] and volunteers and provided a means of promotion for the most humble villager.

Some then, could rise up and make a decent living in the hell that was ran and overseen by class division.

In his book Marxist, the Science of Society Kenneth Cameron writes,

The king was, as in Egypt, represented as divine; each village had a head man whos main job was to collect the taxes and who was responsible for the province and governor, and the army of the officers [land owners] had armor and metal weapons and the soldiers [not land owners] were pheasants. They had no armor and fought on foot with spears… The great working mass were pheasants who had to deliver part of their yield to the land lords who were subject to forced labor and unpaid army service…Feudalism was an actively exploitative, massively oppressive, and violently expansionist society.

The growing Hebrew poor class would have been exploited across the empire for treasures they would never possess themselves; and the Egyptian elite wanted to make sure they would not damage the economy by joining with opposing forces. As an expansionist system, feudalism was an agricultural counterpart of capitalism which is now more or less industrial. The difference today is that the power is taken out of the hands of the nobility and given into the hands of bourgeoisie (which would have been the merchant class in the days ancient Egypt).

Moreover, the Egyptian elite were especially concerned. This is why the ruling class decided and said, “let us deal wisely with them.”

In Exodus chapter one:

Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses” [built in different dynasties].

We must be careful to know what role treasure cities played in Egyptian society. They held provisions and resources stored up in the heart of the economy. Agribusiness and fisheries were its primarily driving forces. Goods would be exported all over the ancient world and in the midst you had the nobles who were the hierarchy and merchants; who were all under Pharaoh.

A majority of the population in ancient Egypt were pheasant farmers working their own small plots of land or tenant farmers and agricultural laborers on the estates of the crown, the temples and the nobility. The farming population was liable to conscription [forced or compelled labor] for work on various state building projects along aside the specialized core of full time workers which must have existed.

This is what happened to Israel in Goshen under feudal Egypt. They were allowed to grow their own little crops after bringing in the required cash crops to their overlords to lay up in their store houses. The nobility having treasure cities built for them seems like an old idea or fantasy, though it is not. If we can’t see this perhaps we don’t yet understand it fully. As the rich class do today they did 4,000 years ago in Egypt. Mankind’s history is one of class struggle, remember this. Nothing is new under the sun.

We are learning that the ruler ship or priestly order needed these Hebrew workers and to make sure they would not over throw them they subjected them to hard labor. When you labor and labor and labor, what time do you have to read and get educated? You don’t. This is how they keep the poor dumbed-down today, being worked 60-70 hours at 2-3 jobs just to survive. Coupled with these burdens, modern religious fanatics who don’t understand politics of society scream at the people to just keep cultist traditions, who themselves are the blind leading the blind. Not everyone can afford books or time to read, or cook a home meal from scratch even. This skill is lost too. The burdens they themselves carry do not allow for much activity. That’s why the imperialist bring about such ‘wonders’ as fast food, TV dinners, microwave dinners. All this is not for your own pleasure. Everything plays into the interest of the ruling classes need to make profit over people. This was by design to keep you working. The terrifying reality that the Hebrew population found themselves in is what the masses find themselves in today under a more refined system of exploitation known as capitalism. A fundamental requirement is exploitation; it cannot develop without it. Education, or a lack of, plays a significant role.

In an excerpt on how educational institutions began to self serve the capitalist, a young Karl Marx wrote,

The Communists have not invented the intervention of society in education; they do but seek to alter the character of that intervention, and to rescue education from the influence of the ruling class. The bourgeois clap-trap about the family and education, about the hallowed co-relation of parents and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of Modern Industry, all the family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour.

We today don’t have knowledge of an alternative society besides capitalism. We have no land or skills, they all have been stolen from the people in the name of capital accumulation. Without skill there is left only simple labor input; to sell your labor power to the capitalist. Israel was facing this in Egypt. And sell and serve hard they did.

Continuing,

Exodus (1:12) But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel

Oppressed the more, the more they had offspring. And as we will see the elite then wanted to kill them off, but it would not be so.

(1:13-14) And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Israel was serving in hard bondage and now they have became the working class, the proletariat, the oppressed. Such is the reality of the state.

An un-sourced document on ancient Egyptian society testifies,

Civilized societies first grew out of later farming societies in about 3,000 B.C. in upper west Asia, North Africa, the eastern Mediterranean, areas with their main centers in Mesopotamia. Both centers were of the same general type, mainly societies in which irrigated agriculture operated by the pheasant labor and owned by a few great land owners, more jointly than individual, providing the social economic base. This society was therefore in essence feudal for the basis of feudal society is the exploitation of the pheasant mass by a great land owning ruling class. To support the great land owners and government, army or church, the pheasants were taxed a quarter or more of their crops and also worked without pay as forced labor for several months each year on palaces, churches [temples], tombs, pyramids, irrigation systems…

We can see the foundation of class struggle set out in Exodus the first chapter. Israel became the proletariat class who served the nobility and were made to fight in their wars, and build treasure cities for them. History has bear record. The Egyptian state was a great land owners state, a hierarchy of super attendance, shipping, irrigation, granaries, and work shops were under the control of top governmental counsels of great land owners. It all was of booming commerce with a constant flow of capital. Every year imports and exports of fish etc. were coming into Egypt. The poor were very busy lining the pockets of the rich, as it is today.

The two principle crops were emmer wheat and barley. The first was used to produce bread and the second to manufacture beer, the two staple items of ancient Egyptian diet. Flax was another important crop that was used in the production of linen garments. Small garden plots yielded vegetables such as lettuce, lentils, while vine yards were to be found on the great estates. Cattle and poultry were reared to supply meat.

We see the makings of Egyptian world trade, and these items were the raw materials important to the Egyptian commerce and to their economy. This all was of course from theft, blood and deceit.

As the crops ripened in the fields, tax assessors would appear to note the quantities and fix the contributions of each owner, these taxes would be paid in kind out of the crop and stored in the state granaries. In normal times there would have been enough food for the entire population with surplus to spare.

We are learning now that with Israel working the fields, building the cities, temples, the tombs, doing the labor along with employed artisans the economy of Egypt was booming. They even had a food surplus. Still, they had a lingering problem. This Israelite people who were multiplying were now a perceived threat.

The next legislation passed down by the Egyptian state because of their growing peasantry was the execution of all male children. And again, here was a state that had kept the ruling classes saddled on the backs of the poor class. Passing legislation of this nature is to possess you, to rob your resources so you can no longer own a home, for example. Today if you stop paying taxes to the state that house will be taken and you will be thrown you in jail for intervening with capital (or mammon). If you transgress the god of mammon you will do hard time and in certain states you will die. The spirit of mammon circulates in industry and the earth will be destroyed for this service.

Exodus (1:15-22) And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

When the king of Egypt made this decree it became a state law on the books: murder the men children. We see the development of a class struggle being built and troublesome days upon Israel. Yet, outlaw midwives went in hiding to deliver their children, while the husbands continued to toil for the land lords. One could imagine a number of scenarios which these women found themselves in by exercising civil disobedience. It was the two Hebrew midwives Shiphrah and Puah that made way for this revolutionary Moses to come forth. They both feared the Creator and broke the law of the land and with great courage, became also enemies of the Egyptian state. God had taken notice, and was pleased.

Today this brand of state sponsored murder is seen in poor communities as the population grows under capitalist oppression through such programs as Planned Parenthood and through social programs that require sterilization to receive government assistance for the basic necessities of life.

The book of Exodus chapter two brings in the great captain of the people, the great legislator Moses. If Moses’ mother did not break the law he would not have been. Even more curious and telling is that those in high Egyptian seats perceived the corruption of the law, like Pharaohs daughter, who took upon herself to violate the decree and have Moses raised up and subsequently trained and educated in all the wonders of Egyptian society.

(2:1-5) And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink. And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river;he nobility and powers that be don’t necessarily believe everything they do to the letter of the law at all times. God will and can beat in a loop hole, and sometimes it takes civil disobedience for him to act. Moses mother was certainly a criminal in the eyes of Pharaoh. And with Pharaoh’s daughter we get a reminder that some in elite power structures don’t always conform. They are not infallible

(2:5-8) and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children. Then said his sister to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother.

God is showing he was pleased with this civil disobedience. To help relieve their oppression, it was a bold and courageous step in their redemptive struggle.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the women took the child, and nursed it. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water

What did this set the climate for? Moses will now be raised in Pharaoh’s house. Moses and the children of Israel, in a sense, were in an apprenticeship now. Having built treasure cities, the farming they did in Goshen and their understanding the science of the land were all learned in bondage. Surely they could build their own society in due time. And God also in his wisdom knew they needed a leader, needed somebody trained for the mission, somebody removed from the feudal system to do it. Someone to be their captain. Moses had learned the skills to move in and move out large armies, he possessed the skills to understand all it takes to move thousands.

In Antiquates of the Jews, Josephus gives a record about Moses through Pharaoh’s daughter, Thermuthis’s point of view:

I have brought up a child who is of a divine form, and of a generous mind; and as I have received him from the bounty of the river, in , I thought proper to adopt him my son, and the heir of thy kingdom.” And she had said this, she put the infant into her father’s hands: so he took him, and hugged him to his breast; and on his daughter’s account, in a pleasant way, put his diadem upon his head; but Moses threw it down to the ground, and, in a puerile mood, he wreathed it round, and trod upon his feet, which seemed to bring along with evil presage concerning the kingdom of Egypt.

Moses of the pheasant class has made his way into the nobility. Josephus continues:

MOSES, therefore, when he was born, and brought up in the foregoing manner, and came to the age of maturity, made his virtue manifest to the Egyptians; and showed that he was born for the bringing them down, and raising the Israelites. And the occasion he laid hold of was this: – The Ethiopians, who are next neighbors to the Egyptians, made an inroad into their country, which they seized upon, and carried off the effects of the Egyptians…Moses invented a wonderful stratagem to preserve the army safe, and without hurt…When he had therefore proceeded thus on his journey, he came upon the Ethiopians before they expected him; and, joining battle with them, he beat them, and deprived them of the hopes they had of success against the Egyptians, and went on in overthrowing their cities, and indeed made a great slaughter of these Ethiopians.

Moses of the noble class and now a learned military commander! This was the importance of education. If Moses would have worked the fields like the rest of the oppressed Hebrews he would not have been educated. Education is a must for any revolution to succeed. More recently in history, who lead the slave revolts during antebellum slavery? It was the men more educated, more specially the artisans. They had to learn how to count, to read, had skills in business, they knew the layout of the land due to the various skills their work required. It has always been those who had the opportunity of education to lead the revolution and rebellion. Jesus was known for his wisdom and knowledge he possessed.

In the book of Acts chapter 7, Stephen gives us a review of history on how Moses lead the class struggle. Remember, Moses was an educated man. This was especially true if you were raised in Pharaoh’s house. You would be attending the best schools to learn the arts of Egypt.

Stephen goes on,

(7:18-22)  Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live. In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months: And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

Soon, Moses, now the high ranking official, goes out as was custom of the nobility to appear before the lower classes to take notice of their production in the region.

Exodus (2:11-15) And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.

Moses was probably out analyzing all those who were employed, drafted or who kept trade and the infrastructure up in the cities. He witnessed the brutality by one of the higher classes. Moses was apart of this nobility who would come out a few times a year to survey the harvest for taxing.

We have actual Egyptian documents that testify of these times:

And now the scribe lands on the river bank and is about to register the harvest tax. The janitors carry staves and the Nubians rods of palm, and they say, ‘hand over the corn’ though there is none. The cuiltivator is beaten all over, he is bound and thrown into the well, soused and head dipped downwards. His wife has been bound in his presence, his children are in fetters. His neighbors abandon them and they are fled. So their corn flies away…mark it well

Common in Egypt and all Feudal societies, when you couldn’t produce they would punish you in some way. Again, Moses probably was at this time out surveying this very oppression. The state of Egypt was the state of the great land owners where the merchant class was particularly strong. Back in the feudal society the land owners policed and beat the pheasants if they failed to provide their crops in taxation. The land owners constituted the officer cast in the armies and the priestly hierarchy. Like today, taxes are a form of exploitation. They will put you in prison for taxes and or take your house. The rich reap all the benefits in our day and in Moses’ day. Isn’t it something that with all the violent oppression in the land today there is hardly any organized movement to relive the oppressed? Not even from so-called Christians?–whom have a more sure word of prophecy!

Exodus (2:11-12) and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

Moses really done did it now. By standing up to the authorities what did Moses become now? This is when old Moses became the enemy of the state, a murderer. Today this is when his face would be up at the post office: Wanted by the FBI/CIA/Home Land Security.

(2:13-14) And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

And yet today this is how it is with the rebels and reprobates who are struggling under the toil of oppression for their own self-preservation. We see them fighting one another, killing and fusing with no organization because they are ignorant. That is why education has to go on for those who the Creator is calling. You have to understand the politics of the game the imperialist put on us to the best of your ability. You don’t have to be a scholar but you have to know the basics.

(2:15) Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

Not only an enemy of the State, he was now exiled, leaving the country because of his resistance against the Egyptian oppressor. Justice and righteousness was in his bones! This is the reason he was born, to lead the oppressed out of the hand of the oppressor to become an out law to the nobility. This was the only reason he was raised in pharaoh’s house. He was now in a class struggle. He fought and murdered a ranking Egyptian.

Likewise, the Messiah also came into a class struggle. But in his day and time there existed a totally different kingdom that had terribly strong military might. His tactics were different for beating the oppressors. (this is not a call to have people to get sticks, clubs and guns to start to act the fool. This is to show first that Moses had become an enemy to the state and why. God already did raise up a prophet like unto Moses and the conditions that brought both Jesus and Moses up was extreme oppression. Moses’ lot was to deliver out a mass of people. Jesus was come to deliver out first, a remnant. He has a method and plan to do it. It’s important to know that both of them became the enemy of the State).

Even when Moses came to Midian he could not even stand to see injustice. He delivered the Midian women from the shepherds at a well. Moses was not just a good story, you have to understand his character and what the Creator had put in him. Solomon describes how oppression makes a wise man mad and this was what Moses was INFURIATED at. If your not careful in study it can be difficult to know what oppression is.

(2:16-22) Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

These daughters were apart of a high class– as the priests were normally apart of a high class. Today the educated priests go to a theology school and are entailed to receive wealth. These are the same people that pray for America before they go and drop bombs on other countries for their resources; to rob the innocent. Before all this however, the leaders always go to “church” for their priestly ‘blessings.’

Continuing,

(2:17-20) And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day? And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock. And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

Having fled to Median in this predicament God still made provisions for Moses’ survival and now was about to put him through another apprenticeship, and to continue to council him. Yet another test from God. This is the same thing David went through (we can begin to appreciate the hand of God in the earth).

(2:21-23) And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land. And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

This is why they cried, because of the social injustice. God had now joined the revolution. Today a few religious folk with a little bit of money buy and sell out the revolutions before they can take root. In the 1960s all the so-called African-American wanted to do was sit and eat next to and shop with the capitalist–they ‘just’ had to get their merchandise! They came out of the so called Civil Rights era with no land, no skills and just as they fought to become a consumer so they became. Having the right to shop in capitalist malls, to spend money and buy their merchandise and necessities of life that they could not fashion on their own. They fought to be commodities; fought to freely buy the same clothes, TVs and other materialistic things from the imperialist. It was all ignorant and done so without real education. They were trained to fight to become commodities to the oppressor. Our children are none other than commodities, being workers born only “to get that money.” They Fought like hell to be consumers in the 1960s. How does a man become a commodity? He becomes a wage slave (see Deuteronomy chapter 28).

Exodus(3:1) Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb

He was a military man and now he was exiled tending the flocks. And already apart of his faith was a growing sense of judgment. This is what the Creator sought to be the captain of his people. All the meanwhile the groaning of the children of Israel are coming up to the God of Abraham all these years. And when it was said and done Moses was in exile for 40 years.

(3:2-6)And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Moses was ready. Having served already two apprenticeships. One being brought up in Pharaoh’s house and learning all the wisdom of the Egyptian empire and another raising flocks of sheep, like King David after him. The time was now. He had been decorated in the knowledge. It was already in him, now he was needed to deliver this people in this class struggle. Against all of the gods of Egypt, against all the evils of the land, where even Moses’ parents, who were next of kin, did not have a lawful marriage (uncle and niece laying together, that how Moses kindred was brought forth). And just like how the evils of Sodom influenced the children of Lot that they sought to lay with their own father! This was not according to the laws that the Creator was about to give Moses to govern a new nation. The Creator was coming to deliver a people so they could in turn teach the other nations the ways of justice and peace. It will take over the earth.

Did God come because the gods of Egypt, in an abstract sense, that they were just literally idols of wood or stone? Not quite, the Egyptian gods were not just idol figurines. They were apart of Egyptian nobility and interlaced into something deeper in society and tied to the economy and how it was inherently oppressive.

(3:7) And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt,

Did the creator say, “I surely have seen all the gods they are serving” or that “I coming now that they are worshiping Ra” or “Isis.” No. He seen the oppression, the injustice, the affliction, the class struggle of the rich class over the poor class. This was the foundation of the Exodus and sadly most can only read and take away from it what God’s name was, or understand the festival that the Hebrews kept, or the spiritual matters of unleavened bread. More importantly, it was the poor proletariat overcoming and being delivered from the nobility and bourgeoisie– this is what the feast day of unleavened bread represented chiefly. And like Moses, Jesus was just like him in everything. Moses’ law is in stark contrast with these feudal societies and in contrast to today’s neo-feudal societies (which are still mercantilism and capitalism).

The Capitalist removed Moses’ legislation, who fought against the oppressing class, from the hearts of a great many through their theologians. The legislation was given to Moses to keep checks and balances over society and over the kingdom of God that they would not become oppressors. Now it makes more sense whey the capitalist today teach us that the laws of Moses are done away with.

(3:7-8)and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large,

The Creator is talking about a real kingdom here. He did not come down to deliver Israel so they can be partakers of the temples of Isis, to integrate them into Egypt, to reap the benefits of the nobility, so they can get paid while they are working the fields and while they are building the infrastructure for Egypt. Surely this is the argument of neo-religious people today, the new religious folk. If you were to leave it to them and if Moses was like them they would have just sought for better pay in Egypt and time off from their burdens. That’s not what God means. When he says ‘kingdom’ he means a real kingdom. If you can produce the kingdom of hell on this earth then why can’t you produce the kingdom of God? Today, all of a sudden now, the rulers of the kingdom of hell teach that heaven is abstract, that it is too great to attain. And that you can’t be like Jesus because you’re “a sinner”; but they will say “Jesus loves you, now get back to work” or, “pay your tithes on Sunday then get back to work”. This is not sound reasoning. That was not Moses’ or Jesus’ reasoning at all. Their reasoning was separation, Paul continues in the same thing, separation.

 (3:8) unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

All these cities of Canaan mentioned here were city-states participating in mercantilism, making big money profit. The land was fruitful. Milk and honey means the land was over flowing with resources. What does milk represent? It means the land was abundant with fertile cattle, strong cattle, healthy cattle; and the cattle fed off the vegetation off the land. What represents good vegetation and produce? Bees. If you don’t have bees you don’t have good vegetation and produce and vice versa. Bees use nectar from the vegetation to make honey. Societies of this time were built on agriculture. Meanwhile the Hebrews were fighting for resources for Egypt without receiving any back, much like we see today. Which percent of U.S. soldiers get a percentage of the oil the U.S. extracts from the middle east? Or from the precious metals and other resources the capitalist class gathers by violence? Zero. Nothing. It’s just for the rich. We’ve been brainwashed to fight like a trained dog.

The God of the bible came down to a criminal, an highly skilled and educated outlaw. This Moses, an exiled and wanted man and enemy of the State. He knew how to work the land, and understood the science and wisdom of Egypt. The Israelite people were trained on the land also having learned in their bondage, being farmers, tradesmen, artisans…in short, being the working class people. God rose up on their behalf because of the cry of their oppression and to make his ways known to Moses. Not to a theologians way, who is freshly minted out of the oppressors seminary school.

The Creator would be setting up a kingdom of communism where none lacked in any way.

Today all the superstitions of the land are biased on economics and the righteous spirit of God takes a back seat. The imperialist today don’t keep Christmas because they love Santa Claus, they don’t get a sense of euphoria from that. Only the ignorant peasantry fall for this. The capitalist just want you to buy the tree, the lights, the paraphernalia, the gifts and the parties. They have persuaded the people to fall for this hook, line and sinker. If the economy is doing well that does not mean the proletariat is doing well.

Moses stood for justice and this is why God rose him up, just how the midwives stood for justice before him. Now it was the whole of God’s people standing against the state. Likewise, Jesus told his followers that they too would have to stand before kings and governors for his sake, to be enemies of the elite. Know now and understand the spirit of Moses. The social order of imperialism has today spread the globe and what are we doing now to call on the God of Creation to deliver us?

Psalm 103:6 reminds us and provides another witness:

The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Exodus(3:9-16) Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

What was done in Egypt and what did the Creator see? Again, they were oppressed by the hierarchy and economic systems of the imperialists. Moses, having been in exile, had to now go back and gather the elders of the people of Israel. Meaning he had to go and organize the exodus out. The elders of the people were all throughout the region of Goshen. They were not just congregating in one house. He went on a campaign so they could in turn instruct the rest of the people on what is happening and what was to be done. In what revolution was organization not important?

(3:17-18) And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us:

After the organizing campaign what else had to take place? The people were working all over the region in their various roles, skills and toils, and had to be gathered and convinced that the time of their liberation drew near. And that God had come to him to deliver them from their oppression. All these elders had to in turn go throughout the pipelines of Egypt, to all the heads of government, to call for their release. A movement had started, a call to action. The Exodus just didn’t magically happen, it took God working through men to be accomplished, and he was at their side. The Israelite people who had Egypt on their backs, who built their treasure cities etc. were now preparing to deliver a blow to the ‘machine’ by their departure from it. For Egypt, losing their money making commodity (labor power) by the surfs vanishing would be a devastating blow.

The head of the nobility, Pharaoh, would not let the people go so easily because exhorting wealth was the reason his high position even existed. Who then could be sucked dry? Certainly not the higher classes, it would be a contradiction. It would also mean his life of leisure would end. And it was not that he did not like the Hebrews personality or even dislike them. It was a matter of business. Who was going to hold up Pharaoh’s economic machine now? The nobility saddled on the backs of the poor, and they would do anything but get off. A removal out of Egypt would cripple the empire of Egypt quickly.

Could you imagine if every citizen of the working class up and left their positions and came out of America? The economic system would shut down over night. This is what happened to Egypt.

According to Marxism, the Science of Society it is declared

that it was the state that kept the ruling classes of the world saddled on the backs of the working mass, in effect these classes put aside part of their wealth into a kind of insurance fund against revolution

Pharaoh did not want to hear this. And Moses was telling him to let go of his wealth. Moses, now again, was apart of the pheasant class.

Book of Hebrews chapter 11 informs us:

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Moses, the midwives and countless other Hebrews were not afraid of the king, and practiced civil disobedience. Paul, James, Peter, Stephen and other brave sisters weren’t either in the face of the dreadful Roman empire. Moreover, what were the pleasure of sin the writer of Hebrews writes of? None other than the pleasures of the nobility, of them living off the backs of the poor. We have so-called Christians today living off the backs of the poor throughout the whole world, off the blood of those toiling in sweat shops, and in Africa and in many countries of the world. The industrialized countries ‘need’ these new commodities the Western world enjoys, these pleasurable sins. And yet, they sill call on “sweet Jesus.” Moses refused this and became an exile and came back for the revolution. Moses had recompense to the reward. Christ was reproached for the same reason. He had the same test as God gave Moses. In the wilderness Satan promised Jesus the same pleasures of sin as recorded in the book of Luke:

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

This is what the imperialists powers have a lot of: bread.

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Let’s also take into account that the nobility and all the powers of the world were all built upon the backs of the poor. All societies. Satan was talking about giving the Messiah power over all kingdoms. Jesus Christ rejected the power of the oppressive system and would only severe the Creator, because he is the God of the oppressed. God showed Moses his ways before Jesus came on the scene and Jesus could have been a real wealthy man, but by faith he refused.

We have to understand the value the children of Israel had to the ruling classes. We have to understand this is real life.

Exodus(3:18-22) And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

Pharaoh of course wouldn’t let them go because he is built on commerce.

And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:

All the money and wealth they made for the Egyptians would be rightfully given back.

But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

And with this, the foundations have been built for the coming revolution against the ruling powers. It had just begun.
